It all started back in the 80's when I was a young teen and saw a Hugger Orange 1969 Z28 on the cover of a car magazine. Thought to myself what an awesome looking car and one day I will own one. Although I have owned many '69 Z28's over the years I have never had a Hugger Orange car, funny how life works sometimes.
Also have one more fond memory from my childhood, it was a second generation Camaro that was white with black stripes and a black interior. This car sat near downtown for years and I remember looking into the car and it had a Hurst T-Handle shifter for the 4 speed. What a great looking car and I thought I will save that car from that existence of sitting and rotting away. That never happened as the car was gone and I never saw it again. No doubt it made its way to a junk yard or was taken apart and sold off.
We have another area of focus which is to source rare and hard to find NOS and used parts to help out my fellow Camaro enthusiast who want to make things right with their own vehicle.
We want to bring our passion and enthusiasm for the Camaro to people that appreciate good honest cars. Currently have two of our Camaros on this site for all to see. This will give you some idea of what kind of cars we like collecting.
A few years ago I became an active member of Team Camaro and the Camaro Research Group. Since then my learning has gone to a whole new level with Generation 1 and 2 Camaros, not to mention there are fantastic people and information on both of these sites.
We are a Camaro family however appreciate all types of Muscle cars and Hot Rods. I can look at a mid 30s or 40s classic and am always amazed at the lines and stance of these old rides. Restomods are also very cool, nothing like modern technology in the bones of something older.
